Fritz Henle

i came across this photo at the back of an old issue of Western Interiors while away on our road trip, and was struck by the grace and solemnity of this setting. photographer Fritz Henle has captured the desert in a rare moment of vulnerability. or perhaps it’s that the moment captured him. either way, one cannot help but take pause when confronted with the naked beauty of this image.

Yes, a terrific image. And the way it appears more grainy because of being scanned and uploaded seems to add to the aesthetic. Lovely.
